Situated in the centre of the Italian Peninsula, Umbria is known as the ‘Green Heart’ of Italy. The location of Santa Chiara is perfect for visiting some of the most spectacular sights within the region.

Umbria at its best

Santa Chiara can be found along an excellent white road, just 2 kilometres outside the small village of Pierantonio and is only 5 kilometres south of the thriving market town of Umbertide. Pierantonio is easily accessed by the E45 autostrada which runs North South from Cesena/Bologna to Roma.

Santa Chiara is also easily accessible from a large number of regional airports in Italy. Please view the graphic shown below for an indication of anticipated travel times by road.

St Egidio, Perugia (Ryanair) – 20 minutes

Ancona, Falconara (Ryanair) – 1hour 30 minutes

Florence (BA/Meridiana) – 2 hours

Rimini, F. Fellini (Ryanair) – 2 hours
